Rs 5.31 crore to be disbursed among 895 employees
Employees to get minimum bonus of Rs 19,728 maximum Rs 85,122
Jamshedpur, Sept 18: The annual bonus agreement for the financial year 2022-23 was signed between Tinplate Company of India Limited and Golmuri Tinplate Workers Union (GTWU) here on Monday. It was decided to give 20 per cent bonus to the employees.
This agreement has been entered into under Sec.31-A of The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 on the basis of the agreed criteria in terms of Profitability, Productivity and Safety.
This agreement stipulates a 20% annual bonus distribution, totaling Rs 5 crore 31 lakh, among 895 employees.
Under the terms of the agreement, the distribution of the bonus is as follows:
- Old employees:
- Maximum: Rs 85,122
- Minimum: Rs 53,897
- NS grade employees:
- Maximum: Rs 64,034
- Minimum: Rs 19,728
Old grade employees would get a maximum bonus of Rs 85,122 and a minimum of Rs 53,897. NS Grade employees would get Rs 64,034 and Rs 19,728 as maximum and minimum bonus respectively, said a press communiqué issued by the company.
The bonus amount will be credited to employees’ bank accounts along with their salaries for the month of September, 2023.
The agreement was signed by Tinplate Company managing director RN Murthy, Santosh Antony, VP (Safety & Corporate), Dr Souryajyoti Dey, GM (Works), Rajeev Kumar Choudhary, Chief Financial Officer, Harjit Singh, DGM (HRM & SS), Dr Rekha Singh Ganguli, Chief Medical Services, Gurprit Singh, Divisional Manager (Employee Relations) and Dhritirupa Chatterjee, Dy. Manager (Finance & Accounts) on behalf of the Management.
On behalf of Golmuri Tinplate Workers’ Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, Dy. President Pavinder Singh Sohal, General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, Vice Presidents Satnam Singh, Goutam Dey and Munna Khan, Asst. Secretaries A Ramesh Rao, Wakil Khan, SB Raju and Jagjit Singh, Treasurer Sanjay Kumar and Asst. Treasurer Bhupendra Kumar Singh.
