Tilka Majhi Agriculture and Research Centre inaugurated

Jamshedpur: Tilka Majhi Agriculture and Research Centre was inaugurated in Gaurgora village near National Highway 33 on Sunday. A senior woman from the village cut the inaugural ribbon in the presence of local dignitaries and guests.

The Centre is managed and run by local youths Krishna Hansda and Tilka Soren. It promotes organic farming and dissemination of knowledge on latest agricultural techniques. Technical support isbeing provided to the institute by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Darisai, and Birsa Agricultural University, Jharkhand. Senior Advocate Kumar Shankar Das is the advisor of the institute.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included Sukhdev Maharaj and Dr Ravindra Mishra of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Dr Mishra praised the institute officials for their initiative and assured to help them in every possible manner.
