Jamshedpur: Tibet Market was inaugurated at Circus ground, Golmuri, jointly by Srinivas, officer in-charge of Golmuri PS, Dr Saba Siddiqui, social worker, and Sardar Inder Singh of Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee on Wednesday.
Organizers said that worship and mass prayers will be held for the long life of the Tibetan guru His Holiness Dalai Lama.
The manager of the Tibet Market said that the market is being organized in the city for the last 35 years.
The purpose of the annual market is to make available winter clothes to the city people at an appropriate rate. A wide variety of sweaters, jackets, caps and other woolen and leather items are available in the market.
The Market will be held for three months.
