Three escape unhurt as speeding Maruti Baleno overturns in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 9: A major road accident was averted on Marine Drive in Jamshedpur on Thursday when a speeding Maruti Baleno lost control, crashed into a road divider and overturned. The car was carrying three occupants—two men and a woman—all of whom escaped with minor injuries.
The accident triggered panic among commuters and passers-by, who rushed to the scene immediately after the vehicle overturned. Displaying promptness, bystanders rescued the occupants from the mangled car before any further danger could arise.
Fortunately, none of the three sustained serious injuries. The occupants were brought out safely, drawing relief from those gathered at the accident site. The overturned vehicle, however, suffered significant damage in the crash.
The incident led to temporary disruption of traffic on the busy Marine Drive stretch as local residents and motorists gathered near the spot. Traffic movement remained affected until the damaged vehicle was removed from the roadway.
According to preliminary information, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to ram into the divider and overturn. Authorities later cleared the vehicle from the road, restoring normal traffic flow. The exact cause of the accident is being ascertained.
