Chaibasa, April 5: The three day Ma Mathurasini Devi Puja commenced today at Mahuri Bhawan in Chaibasa. All COVID-19 guidelines have been put in place for the Puja. The Puja is performed by the Mahuri community. Purohit Nityanand Pandey performed the worship. Due to the pandemic situation all processions and Bhandara programmes for the occasion have been cancelled. Ma Mathurasini Puja will conclude on Wednesday after Hawan Yagna. The idol of the deity will then be immersed at the Jubilee Lake.
