Jamshedpur: The court of additional district judge (IX) Sheshnath Singh convicted three persons in Rajdeep Singh murder case of Golmuri here on Friday. The quantum of punishment would be decided on Saturday.
Sources said the persons convicted, identified as Tirath Singh alias Tinku Singh, Happy Singh alias Malkit Singh and Sheru Singh alias Sher Singh, had shot Rajdeep Singh dead in Tuiladungri under Golmuri police station area on 4th May 2011. The incident took place late evening when Rajdeep was taking a stroll outside his house with his friend Mandeep Singh. Sheru shot dead Rajdeep who was held by Happy. The victim was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
