Jamshedpur, April 30: Kadma police arrested three persons with 13 packets of brown sugar near Baikunth Mandir on Saturday.
Those arrested were identified as Shashi Kumar Gupta, resident of Block No 1, Shastrinagar, Atul Singh and Aman Dixit, residents of Sakchi.
Police officials said they had got a tip-off about the accused persons selling brown sugar in the area for the past few days. Acting promptly, a police team raided the area and arrested the accused persons, officials said.
Police said raids were on to nab other associates of the accused persons involved in selling brown sugar and other addictive substances across the city.
