Jamshedpur: Police today arrested three alleged thieves in connection with the theft in a household in Kasidih under Sakchi police station area recently and seized several stolen items.
Those arrested were identified as Kartik Kachchap, Vikram Bada and Manish Kumar. They were nabbed on the basis of police investigation into the case. A team comprising eight police personnel nabbed the thieves.
The accused persons had taken away household goods and valuables worth several lakh from the house of one Kundan Kumar Sinha at Road Number 1, Bagan Number 3 in Kasidih under Sakchi police station area in the last few days.
Among the recovered goods included the LCD TV, mobile phone, gold and silver jewelry and other valuables, police said.
Sources said the family of Sinha was not at home and the house was under lock and key. When the family members returned on 10th June last, the lock on the door was found broken and many household goods were found missing. A LCD television, a mobile pohone, gold and silver ornaments and other valuables were stolen from the house.
