Jamshedpur: Minor knocks 3 vehicles, enters shop

Jamshedpur, March 1: Three vehicles and an electronic shop were damaged in a road accident at Mango Chowk on Tuesday. The mishap occurred when a minor boy tried to go on a fun drive in an auto-rickshaw. The minor drove at high speed and consequently failed to control the vehicle, thus knocking down three vehicles on its way before finally ending up inside an electronic shop on the roadside. The vehicle rammed into the shop, damaging the counter and goods kept inside, sources said.

Irked over the incident, local residents caught the minor and roughed him up before handing him over to police.

The vehicle and shop owners demanded compensation for the damage done to them.
