Thieves target temple in Jamshedpur, steal Rs 5k from donation box

Jamshedpur, Aug 5: Terror of thieves continues under the Kadma police station area. Gangs are carrying out thefts and especially targeting temples. In a recent incident, the thief gang broke the donation box of Pipaldhari Hanuman temple in Shastrinagar block 3 of Kadma. They stole five thousand rupees kept in it. People came to know about this on Thursday.

Local people, including Kadma BJP Mandal President Rajesh Singh, demonstrated at the police station in protest against theft of access to Kadma police station. Singh said that theft is being done in temples by targeting in the area. On July 26, the dome was stolen from the Hanuman temple in Kadma Shastrinagar block 4. Earlier, thieves had stolen the donation money by breaking the lock of the donation box of Kadma Rankini temple.

The dome and trident of the Kadma Kali temple were stolen. A week ago, Kadma Bhatia, a brass urn and trident in the dome of Basti Bhuneshwari temple was stolen. The morale of the thieves in the area has increased so much that despite the police patrolling, they are carrying out the theft incident. Not only this, the local people are being threatened with theft by pelting stones and leaving letters in the houses at night after registering a complaint with the police station.
