Thieves raid house in Jamshedpur’s Ulidih, flee after owner raises alarm

Jamshedpur: On Tuesday night, thieves raided a house in Ulidih police station area and committed theft. When the house owner woke up, he was also threatened with a knife. After committing the theft, the accused fled.

It is said that on Tuesday night, thieves raided the house of Pappu Gautam, who lives next to National Electronics on Dimna Road. The thieves entered by jumping over the boundary wall and broke the lock of the gate.

While trying to enter through the window, Pappu woke up hearing the noise. As soon as he saw the thieves, they threatened to kill him by showing a button knife from outside and started abusing him.

When Pappu tried to call from his mobile, the thieves ran away after warning him of dire consequences. While leaving, the thieves also took away the water motor kept in the courtyard of the house.

On getting information about the incident, former BJP leader Vikas Singh reached the spot. He shared the information of the entire case with the local police officer. Vikas Singh said that the entire Mango area has become a hub of daily lottery and brown sugar.

He alleged that this is not possible without the knowledge and permission of the police station.

The incidents happening just 800 meters away from Ulidih police station are raising questions on the working style of the police.

On August 12, thieves broke into the house of Lakshmi Narayan. The sudden noise woke up the house owner, after which the thieves fled with utensils. Similarly, on August 16, a cylinder was stolen from the house of Lakshmi Devi, who lives in the neighborhood.
