Drug peddler gang busted in Jamshedpur, 5 nabbed

Jamshedpur: The police have taken major action against the gang smuggling brown sugar in the field behind St Robert School in Parsudih police station area. The raiding team formed on the basis of secret information caught five people from the spot. The police have recovered 119 packets of brown sugar, Hyundai car, bank documents, QR code and mobile phones from the accused. The accused were buying and selling brown sugar through QR code. The police said that the accused will be interrogated after taking them on remand. It will be found out from where these people used to buy brown sugar and where they used to sell it. More people are involved in the case. Continuous raids are being conducted to arrest them. The arrested accused include Arvind Sharma, Sunny Swansi, Mohd. Sameer, Mohd. Sabbir Hussain and Mohd. Taufik Alam
