Jamshedpur, Dec 27: Thefts continue to take place in the city putting question mark of the policing in the city.
It seems police are contented at only registering FIR and conducting traffic checking instead of arresting the culprits and are not even able to trace out the gangs involved in theft incidents which have risen sharply.
On Sunday, a Mango Daiguttu resident Arvind Kumar had his house robbed of valuables including laptop and jewelleries. Police have lodged a case of theft against unidentified thieves.
Burglars broke into the locked house of Manoj Mukhi located at GP Slope road under Kadma thana are as the owner had gone out with his family on December 25 and after returning found the almirah open and jewelleries and cash missing.
Manoj Mukhi has in the complaint said that burglars have taken away cash and goods worth Rs 2 lakh and the theft has taken place after carefully doing a recce.
