Jamshedpur, Dec 27: The ruling faction of the Tata Workers Union (TWU) have finalised the name of Arvind Pandey as their candidate for the post of president while Shailesh Singh would be contesting in the top three posts of the union.
Informing the media at Bistupur, the ruling faction’s vice-president, Shahnawaz Alam said, “We will be fighting the next general election of the Union under the leadership of Arvind Pandey while Shailesh will be contesting in any of the top three post while candidature for one more post will be announced later,”
Shailesh Singh said that he would abide by the decision of the TWU ruling faction team members.
Shahnawaz Alam further informed that the three years tenure of the TWU would be completed on February 26, 2021 and that they would try that the presidential candidate Arvind Pandey should conduct the election on time. The committee members name would also be finalised soon.
