Now a days, Physiotherapy is progressing rapidly with the advance technology implementation in relevant field of Ortho, Neuro, Paediatrics, Sports medicine & many other.
This particular field of technology enhances early recovery in Musculo skeletal disorder, Neurological diseases, Cerebral Palsy/ Delayed milestone, Sports injury, Post operative cases. In advance physiotherapy technology, LASER therapy, SHOCKWAVE, Pulsed Short Wave Diathermy, Cryoflow, Interferential therapy, Ultrasound therapy, Faradic & Galvanic stimulation enhances the speedy recovery of Ortho & Neurological disorder.
Manual therapy (Active & Passive) assists in early mobilization for post traumatic/post operative cases. Physiotherapy in sports injury has equally a significant role to assist the sports person go back to the field with their expertise.
Physically challenged/ Delayed milestone children if intervened in early stage with physiotherapy exhibit a marked improvement in ambulation & daily physical activities.
In earlier days, physiotherapy was generally termed as massage/exercise, but these days with academic curriculum progression & advanced technology in electrotherapy & exercise therapy, this noble profession has spread its wings.
People in the community are also well oriented about the efficacy of proper & skilled physiotherapy. This profession in the health care services is developing by leaps & bounds with the relentless support of ortho, neuro & other concerned medical professionals. By & large, Physiotherapy has proven its efficacy in treating ORTHO, NEURO, PAEDIATRICS, GERIATRICS & all other relevant areas.
