Jamshedpur, April 4: The Telco Andhra Committee inaugurated its annual five-day Ram Navami celebrations with the traditional Panghir Rata (Madava) ritual. The event commenced with the installation of the sacred urn (Kalash Sthapana) by a priest, following Telugu customs and Vedic chants.

General Secretary K. Ram Mohan Rao emphasized that the committee has been organizing this festival every year with devotion. He explained that the Kalash Sthapana is a significant ritual, symbolizing auspiciousness and good fortune. It is believed to invoke the presence of deities in the puja, bringing divine blessings to all participants.
Several committee members and devotees, including Rajasekhar Rao, C. S. R. Murthy, Y. V. Verma, Bhaskar Rao, K. D. Rao, Shyam Sundar Rao, and many others, attended the ceremony. The celebrations will continue for five days with various religious rituals and offerings.
