Chakradharpur, June 25: A heartbreaking incident occurred near Pump Road under the jurisdiction of Chakradharpur police station, as a fifteen-year-old boy lost his life due to drowning in the Pump River. The incident took place on Sunday when Anmol Rai, the son of Falu Rai and a resident of Toklo Road, Chakradharpur, went to the Pump River with three of his friends to bathe. Tragically, Anmol was not aware of how to swim.
While bathing, Anmol unintentionally ventured into deep water. Despite their best efforts, his friends were unable to locate him, prompting them to seek assistance from those in the vicinity. With the help of a few individuals, Anmol’s lifeless body was eventually recovered from the river.
In a state of urgency, Anmol was rushed to the railway hospital, where the doctors, after examining him, pronounced him brought dead. The news of the incident quickly reached Anmol’s family and the local community, who immediately gathered at the railway hospital. Overwhelmed with grief, Anmol’s family members were inconsolable and filled the atmosphere with their heartrending cries. The untimely demise of Anmol Rai has left the community in shock and mourning
