Motilal Nehru Public School honors students at annual Prize Night

Jamshedpur, June 25: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) held its Annual Prize Night on Saturday, June 24th, to celebrate the remarkable achievements of high school students during the academic session 2022-2023. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed Chief Guest DIG Ajay Linda, a distinguished IPS officer from the 2008 batch, and Guest of Honour Sr S.P. Prabhat Kumar, an accomplished IPS officer from the 2014 batch.

The Annual Prize Night at MNPS has become a tradition of acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of both students and teachers who go above and beyond in making a difference. This gesture of recognition serves as motivation for students, who were delighted to receive awards from such respected dignitaries. The event commenced with DIG Ajay Linda addressing the gathering and delivering thought-provoking words.

DIG Ajay Linda expressed his appreciation for the teachers’ holistic contribution to the students’ development and encouraged the students to maximize their potential during their student life. His presence and insightful speech left a lasting impact on the audience, inspiring them to strive for excellence.

As part of the evening’s festivities, the students showcased a spectacular music and dance recital based on the unique creations of Rabindranath Tagore. The internationally renowned poet and author, Rabindranath Tagore, received the Nobel Prize for literature on November 13th, 1913, in recognition of his literary contributions, immense talent, and relentless endeavors to enrich our cultural heritage.

The Annual Prize Night was replete with numerous special awards, academic accolades, and felicitations for the ICSE and ISC toppers. The event also featured a special segment honoring the qualifiers of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The Principal presented the School Annual Report, and the comperes for the evening were Amrit Raj Mishra, Anushka Kumari, Rishabh Srivastava, and Palak.

Additionally, MNPS awarded scholarships of Rs 30,000 each to the top five ICSE performers: Siddhesh Kumar, Akshay Kumar Singh, Arnav Sinha, Aditya Pratap Singh, and Aastha Singh. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chairman V.S. Rana, Anurag Agnihotri from Tata Steel, Hon. General Secretary Dr. D.P. Shukla, Principal Ashu Tiwary, and other esteemed U.P Sangh dignitaries.
