Jamshedpur: Antara Chakraborty who has been undergoing treatment at Tata Main Hospital was in urgent need of transfusion of Single Donor Platelets (SDP). As soon as Jamshedpur�s social organizationTeam Sangharsh Pariwar (TSP) came to know of the urgent requirement they immediately swung into action and arranged for the platelets transfusion well ahead of the deadline. The SDP process takes about 90 minutes time.
TSP appealed to the masses especially to families of persons of have undergone the SDP process to come forward for this vital cause and spread awareness about it. The police have launched investigation into the case. At the time of going to press no breakthrough has been reported.
