Dedicates Milestone to Ratan Tata
Jamshedpur: In a powerful tribute to world peace and the legacy of late industry icon Ratan Tata, Team PSF added two more names to Jamshedpur’s prestigious list of “Century Donors.” Kamal Kumar Ghosh and Shubhendu Mukherjee completed their 100th blood donations on Wednesday, marking a historic milestone for the city’s voluntary sector.
A New Record for Team PSF
With these two additions, Team PSF has now produced 17 century donors, the highest for any single voluntary organization in the region. The group also reached a monumental figure in specialized donation, completing its 1,787th Single Donor Platelet (SDP) donation through this campaign.
Meet the Century Heroes
Both donors dedicated their 100th innings to the “Iron Man of India,” Ratan Tata.

Kamal Kumar Ghosh: A Tata Motors employee and General Secretary of BVDA, Kamal began his journey on July 29, 2011. He reached his 50th donation in 2022 and his 75th in 2025 before hitting the century mark on March 11, 2026.

Shubhendu Mukherjee: Working for the MNC Rockwell, Shubhendu started donating on May 28, 2001. He completed his 100th donation via SDP, showing decades of commitment to saving lives.
A Grand Celebration at Jamshedpur Blood Centre
The Jamshedpur Blood Centre welcomed the donors with a traditional ceremony, including a shower of flower petals and the ceremonial tilak.
