Teachers taken to task for delayed biometric attendance

Seraikela, Nov 12: Education department has taken action against 33 teachers for making biometric attendance after the specified time. 
Biometric attendance has been made mandatory for teachers. Departmental action has also been started against teachers who do not make biometric attendance on time. As per directive biometric attendance has to be made by 8 am in every situation, even after issuing guidelines repeatedly, many teachers do attendance behind the time. . Departmental action has been taken against 33 teachers of the Seraikela block making such biometric attendance late. Under this, casual leaves (CL) adjustment of one day of teachers has been done on the delay of three days. There are such teachers in the list of these teachers, whose six CL adjustments have been made, that is, such teachers have arrived late for 18 days in a month, while the teacher who got leave hardly has to go to school for 22 to 23 days in a month, 18 days late in them. . Giving information in this regard, the Block Education Extension Officer, Seraikela, Dilip Kumar has directed all 33 such teachers to maintain the adjusted casual leave in the Casual Leave Register.
