Jamshedpur: Covid vaccination, testing reviewed in meet

Jamshedpur, Nov 11: A meeting was held at district collectorate to review preparations made for Covid vaccination, testing and prevention and control of the third wave of Covid infection. 
In-charge vaccination cell cum Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum Sandeep Kumar Meena, civil surgeon, district supply officer, ACMO and other concerned officers were present in the meeting. During the meeting, a detailed review of the preparations, testing, etc. to be done in view of 100 per cent corona vaccination and in view of the third wave was done. 
Directive was issued for house-to-house vaccination and the ongoing works under the testing and survey campaign. 
The SDO Dhalbhum informed that survey has been conducted in this regard through various mediums and this list is available in all the blocks, on the basis of which all the concerned officers were directed to prepare a better action plan from the geographical point of view, speed up the vaccination works and bring awareness at the village level. Instructions were given to ensure progress in the vaccination works done. He also directed to speed up the number of beneficiaries taking the second dose and directed the concerned officers to call the beneficiaries of the second dose under their respective blocks a day before the date of taking the second dose and provide information about the second dose, time and place. 

During the meeting, the civil surgeon said that need is to do testing on a large scale. He reviewed the block wise Covid testing and gave necessary directions to the concerned officers. He said that (speed up RT-PCR, TrueNAT and rapid antigen test and do maximum number of sample testing.
