Ranchi, July 30: Teachers are the axle of development. The society is heading towards knowledge exploration.

Hence the newly appointed teachers should teach the students with commitment & conviction.� These words were said by Chief Minister Raghubar Das while distributing appointment letters to the newly appointed teachers of the state.

�It�s a great coincidence that our newly appointed teachers are initiating their career on the same day on which the great teacher Dr. Kalam is embracing the grave, �said the CM.

He congratulated the teachers & advised them to teach with heart & soul keeping the moral value in mind. They should present precedent with their character, simplicity & knowledge in front of the children so that they can take inspiration.

A total number of 1679 teachers were given appointment in this program. Before the commencement of the program, late Dr.APJ Abdul kalam was given tribute by observing silence for two minutes.

The Chief Minister said that the teachers should teach the students on the line of great traditional teachers. Now -a- days education has been commercialized and affected the teachers students teacher student relationship. Hence they you have to prepare such future citizen who can fight with corruption and serve their mother land. they have to developed moral values in the students so that they can be a better citizen.

He said that the Govt. is providing all types of resources including the infrastructure. Education is a way of transformation; hence the teachers should become its honest flag bearers.

Underlining the Govt.�s commitments, the CM said that quality education is the Govt� priority. Hence the students should be taught keeping the world scenario in mind so that students could achieve their goals.

Minister for Schools Education and Lliteracy Mrs.Neera Yadav said that teachers never retire. Referring to learning she said that the more you expense it, the more it increases.

Secretary Schools Education and Lliteracy Mrs Aradhna Patnayak said that this year is centered at quality education and only teachers can make it possible.

So they should teach the students in remote areas of the state to bring them in the main stream. Dr Manish Ranjan, Director, Secondary Education said that 162 girls� hostels have been built in the state.

189 English medium model schools are being run and 1036 schools are imparting ICT based teaching to the students. In the forthcoming days, forty thousand teachers will be appointed.
