Gamharia, Oct 17: TAYO officials have decided to form an association to protest what they termed the company�s hoodwinking them into signing the VSS agreements.
A meeting of TAYO officers was convened today at Chhota Gamharia chaired by Chandranath Mahto. He accused the company management of taking the officers for a ride. �Instead of accommodating us in other units of the company, the management deceitfully made us sign VSS forms. None of the TAYO officers have thus far been appointed in Tata Steel or other companies.
He claimed that the company�s officers would be given lesser compensation than the workers. The officers informed that whereas the workers would be paid 32 months� salary, the officers would be compensated with 15 days� pay per year.
The officers decided at the meeting that an association would be formed to protest the company�s move.
Kaushal Kishor, V Mohan, Anirudh Singh, Parvinder Singh, Rashmi Ranjan Pati, Nirmal Maity, Gautam Das, Pramod Kumar, Amit Kumar and other officers were present at the meeting.
