Tax payers can file return of previous two FYs: CA Desai at ICAI seminar on AR changes

Jamshedpur, July 17: A seminar on ‘Changes in Tax Audit Report and Prismatic Taxation and ITR’ was organized by Jamshedpur Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The seminar was inaugurated by Chairman of the ICAI Jamshedpur branch, CA Pankaj Sidhari. During his address, CA Sidhari welcomed keynote speakers, CA Dipak Bholusaria from New Delhi and CA Krishi Desai from Mumbai. During his welcome address, ICAI Jamshedpur Chairman Pankaj Sidhari described the keynote speakers as masters of taxation laws and urged members present to pay close attention to what CA Dipak Bholusaria and CA Krish Desai said. “By paying close attention to what the keynote speakers say and explain, we will be able to surmount the problems we encounter in the course of our audit as-well-as provide good advice to our clients.”

Addressing the first session, keynote speaker, CA Dipak Bholusaria presented detailed information on changes in the tax audit report. His address included explanations with examples on changes in prismatic taxation.

During the second session, Krishi Desai, while explaining changes in ITR said, “Now, any taxpayer can file the IT Returns of the last two financial years provided he has tax liability and does not claim refund.”

 The vote of thanks was offered by CA Sugam Saraiwala. CAs Anil Agarwal, Sanjay Goyal, Dilip Golchha, Pawan and many other members of the ICAI Jamshedpur chapter were present on the occasion.
