Tatanagar wins ‘Best Kept Station Shield’

Jamshedpur, May 26: Tatanagar railway station will be awarded a trophy for ‘best kept station’ for cleanliness and good maintenance. This was announced by Ashish Kumar�Goel, general manager of South Eastern Railway.

Chakradharpur Railway division has won the ‘overall efficiency shield’ this year. The award will be presented during the 61st annual railway week celebration at BNR Officers Club of Garden Reach Kolkata on May 27 where Goyal will present the awards to the winners.

Rajendra Prasad along with senior officials of CKP Railway division will leave for Kolkata on night of May 26 to receive the award. Significantly, the efficiency shield is provided every year during the railway week for enhanced performance by the different departments of the railways. �

CKP railway division and Kharagpur railway division will jointly receive the overall efficiency shield from Goyal.

This year, the CKP division has won nine efficiency shields including business and passenger service shield, accounts and finance management shield, best kept station shield, Olympia cup for excellence in sports shield, scrap mobilization shield, best construction filed unit shield Jharsuguda, Rajbhasa shield, track machine unitization shield
