Jamshedpur: South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced the operation of Examination Special Trains to facilitate students traveling for competitive exams. The initiative aims to provide convenient and reliable transportation for students traveling to their examination centers. Below are the details of the special train schedules:
Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Examination Special (Train No. 08639/08640) Departure from Ranchi: – Train No. 08639 will depart from Ranchi on June 22, 2024, at 14:10 hrs. – Arrival at Patna is scheduled for 23:00 hrs the same day. Return from Patna: – Train No. 08640 will depart from Patna on June 23, 2024, at 21:00 hrs. – Arrival at Ranchi is scheduled for 05:30 hrs the next day. Stoppages: – The train will halt at Muri, Kotshila, and Bokaro Steel City within SER jurisdiction.
Tatanagar-Patna-Tatanagar Examination Special (Train No. 08109/08110) Departure from Tatanagar: – Train No. 08109 will depart from Tatanagar on June 22, 2024, at 16:15 hrs. – Arrival at Patna is scheduled for 03:00 hrs the next day.
Return from Patna:- Train No. 08110 will depart from Patna on June 23, 2024, at 22:15 hrs.- Arrival at Tatanagar is scheduled for 07:15 hrs the next day.
Stoppages:- The train will halt at Chandil, Purulia, Bhojudih, and Mohuda within SER jurisdiction.
These Examination Special Trains are being introduced in response to the increasing demand from students who travel to major cities like Patna for various competitive and entrance examinations. By scheduling these special trains, SER aims to ease the transportation challenges faced by students and ensure they reach their examination centers on time without undue stress.
