Jamshedpur, Mar 8: In preparation for the upcoming Holi festival, the Railways has announced the introduction of a new express train, Puri-Anand Vihar-Puri, with a route via Chaibasa. The train is scheduled to operate every Saturday from Puri starting March 9, and on its return journey, it will depart from Anand Vihar every Sunday, starting March 10.
The 18427 Puri Anand Vihar Weekly Express will commence its journey at 4:15 am from Puri, reaching Anand Vihar at 1:38 pm on the second day, with a stopover in Chaibasa. In the return direction, the 18428 Anand Vihar Puri Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 5:20 pm, reaching Puri at 11:55 pm on the second day, again passing through Chaibasa at 1:23 pm via Danguaposi.
This new express train is expected to provide additional travel options for passengers during the festive season, connecting key destinations along its route.
