Jamshedpur, Mar 8: A new train service from Tatanagar to Buxar has been inaugurated, providing a convenient transportation option for passengers heading towards Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The commencement of this service was marked by the flagging off ceremony conducted by Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato.
The daily train from Tatanagar departs at 8:15 am, heading towards Ara and now extending its route to Buxar. It is scheduled to reach Ara at 8:30 pm, making a ten-minute stop, and eventually arriving at Buxar by 10:50 pm. Along the way, the train halts at Bihiya, Raghunathpur, and Dumraon after Ara. For the return journey, the train leaves Buxar at 3:30 am, reaches Ara by 4:50 am, and finally arrives at Tatanagar railway station at 5:20 pm.
MP Bidyut Baran Mahato expressed satisfaction, stating that this service would bring significant relief to individuals traveling to Bihar. The extension of the train route from Ara to Buxar was a long-standing demand, and the continuous efforts and appeals to the Railway Minister have now borne fruit. The train service, initially running from Tata to Ara, was subsequently extended to Buxar, benefitting passengers traveling to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The inauguration event was attended by Sudhanshu Ojha, the Jamshedpur BJP President, along with officials from Tatanagar Railway Station.
