Jamshedpur, Sept 6: The trial run of the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express is scheduled for September 10. On the day of the trial, the train will depart from Tatanagar and complete a round trip, returning from Patna the same day.
The official inauguration of the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat, along with other new routes, will take place on September 15, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagging off the 63rd and 64th Vande Bharat Express trains from Tatanagar Railway Station in Jamshedpur. Chief Rolling Stock Engineer Prasun Chakraborty confirmed the arrival of the train rakes in Tatanagar on September 6.
Public excitement grows for Vande Bharat Express
The second version of the Vande Bharat Express has sparked excitement among the public, eager to catch a glimpse of the sleek orange-colored train. The Tata-Patna Vande Bharat is expected to cover the journey in approximately seven hours, marking it as the 64th Vande Bharat train in India.
Route and Timings of Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express
The Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express will travel via Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Rajabera, NSC Gomoh and Gaya before reaching Patna.
The tentative schedule suggests the train will depart Tatanagar at 5.30 AM, arriving in Patna by 12.20 PM. The return journey from Patna is expected to start at 2:15 PM, reaching Tatanagar by 09:05 PM.
