Tatanagar Improvement Group urges prompt completion of foot overbridge

Jamshedpur, April 24: Members of the Tatanagar Improvement Group, led by Station Superintendent OP Sharma, conducted a thorough inspection of Tatanagar station, scrutinizing every aspect from platform to portico. In light of the assessment, directives were issued to departmental supervisors to expedite the ongoing construction of the foot overbridge on the platform and ensure the provision of cold water for passengers. Additionally, instructions were given to maintain the coach display board and other essential equipment on the platform.

The inspection team comprised Commercial Inspector Shashi Kumar, Catering Inspector Rakesh Kumar, Health Inspector Jitendra Kumar, Senior Section Engineer J Haldar, and supervisors from various departments. Stall operators were instructed to supply cold bottled water to passengers, adhere strictly to printed pricing, and operate their stalls around the clock.

It has been emphasized that any deficiencies identified during the inspection must be promptly addressed with the assistance of the Engineering, Signal and Telecom, and Health Departments to mitigate inconvenience for passengers. Furthermore, ensuring smooth progress in the redevelopment of Tatanagar station remains a priority.
