Jamshedpur, April 24: A group of newly appointed teachers in Jamshedpur staged a demonstration outside the office of the District Education Department, voicing their grievances and demanding immediate action. The primary focus of their protest was the non-payment of their outstanding salaries and Dearness Allowance (DA).

The teachers, who were recruited in May of the previous year, lamented that they have yet to receive their salaries and arrears for a period spanning four to five months. This delay has caused considerable financial strain and uncertainty among the affected educators.

Speaking on behalf of the demonstrators, a representative highlighted the unique plight faced by teachers in Jamshedpur, noting that while teachers in other districts have received their dues, those in Jamshedpur have been neglected.

The protesters emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged the District Education Officer to expedite the process of disbursing the outstanding salaries to all newly appointed teachers without further delay.
