Tatanagar bound trains to remain cancelled from August 30

Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Passengers travelling to or from Tatanagar should brace for major disruptions as the Bilaspur Railway Division begins Pre Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking work from August 30 to September 3, 2025. As part of this essential infrastructure upgrade, several important trains will be cancelled for safety and operational efficiency.

Train number 18113 between Tatanagar and Bilaspur will be cancelled from August 30 to September 2 and the return service, 18114, will not run from August 31 to September 3. Similarly, trains 18109 (Tatanagar–Itwari) and 18110 (Itwari–Tatanagar) will be cancelled on September 3.

Other long-distance services such as Shalimar–Pune, Pune–Shalimar, Hatia–Pune, Lokmanya Tilak–Kamakhya, Malda Town–Surat, Howrah–CSMT, Porbandar–Shalimar, Vasco da Gama–Jasidih, Bilaspur–Patna and Shalimar–LTT will also face cancellations on various dates.

A senior railway official stated, “The temporary cancellations are essential to carry out safety-related and modernization work. We urge passengers to check updates and plan accordingly.” Travelers are advised to monitor IRCTC or local stations for revised schedules to avoid inconvenience.
