Tatanagar: Alert passenger averts major tragedy of Purushottam Express

Dhanbad, November 11. On Saturday, Purushottam Express came under the influence of high tension wire on Dhanbad-Gaya railway section.

Due to this, two people died, while many people are injured. A laborer and a passenger have died in this accident.

Among the deceased, laborer Chhavi Shaikh (26 years) was a resident of Murshidabad (Bengal), while passenger Sanjay Manjhi had a ticket for Gaya (Bihar). As soon as information was received after the accident, DRM and other railway officials reached the spot and took information about the entire matter.

Due to this accident, railway operations came to a standstill for a long time. Now railway operations have been started.

It is being told that the accident occurred due to breakage of high tension wire near Parsabad railway station. A major accident was averted due to the wisdom of a passenger. In time, a passenger stopped the train by pulling the chain. A major accident was averted by this.

A major accident was averted due to the wisdom of passenger Saurabh Kumar. He did chain pulling. Due to this the train stopped otherwise Purushottam Express would have become victim of a major accident.

A high tension wire broke and fell near Parsabad station and a laborer working there died after coming under the influence of this high tension wire. His name is said to be Chhavi Sheikh (26 years). He was a resident of Murshidabad (Bengal).

Many workers are injured in this accident. According to the information, this incident happened at 12.05 pm. After the accident, electricity to the up and down overhead wires of Parsabad railway station was switched off. The operation of up and down railways came to a standstill. Now the operation of trains has been started.

As soon as information about this accident was received, senior officials including DRM, DHN immediately reached the spot.  Purushottam Express escaped becoming a victim of a major accident today. A major accident was averted due to the wisdom of a passenger.
