Tata Workers’ Union pays tribute to DK Singh

Jamshedpur, April 25: The 14th death anniversary of late D.K. Singh, former General Secretary of Tata Workers’ Union (TWU), was observed with a condolence meeting at the Union premises on Saturday evening.

Union leaders and members gathered to pay homage to the late leader. General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, deputy president Shailesh Kumar Singh, and Vice President Shahnawaz Alam spoke on the occasion, highlighting the life, dedication, and contributions of D.K. Singh towards the welfare of workers and the growth of the union.

Dr. M.S. Singh, an office associate of the union, presented a detailed account of D.K. Singh’s life journey and achievements. Speakers remembered him as a committed leader who worked tirelessly for the rights and unity of workers. They urged members to follow his ideals and continue working with honesty and dedication.

Several key members, including Vice President Sanjay Kumar Singh, Assistant Secretary Shyam Babu, Office In-charge Dharmbir Kumar Singh, executive committee members, and union staff were present.

The programme concluded with a two-minute silence to pray for the departed soul.
