Tata Workers Union observes Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birth Anniversary

 

Jamshedpur: The Tata Workers Union (TWU) observed the 128th birth anniversary of its former president Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Friday, January 23, at the union premises.

Union office bearers and members paid floral tributes by garlanding a photograph of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and offered flowers in his honour. Those present also took a pledge to follow his ideals, principles and guidance in their personal and professional lives.

The ceremony was attended by TWU President Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, Joint President Shailesh Kumar Singh, Vice President Shahnawaz Alam, Assistant Secretaries Ajay Kumar Choudhary and Shyam Babu, Treasurer Amod Kumar Dubey, along with executive committee members and union employees.

The celebration was kept low-key due to the sudden demise of Jaydev Upadhyay, Director of the Tata Workers Union, Michael John Centre, earlier in the day.
