Jamshedpur, November 9: Elections for Tata Workers Union, the authorized union of Tata Steel, will be held in January.
Internal preparations have been made regarding this. It is said that several rounds of talks have taken place in this regard between Tata Steel HRM officials and the top three of Tata Workers Union.
It is said that HRM officials have told Tata Workers Union to conduct the elections in January under any circumstances.
Voting of election officials should be conducted in the last days of December or early week of January and then elections should be conducted in January. It has been told to the union that it is not right to unnecessarily involve the union in the court or labor department again. In such a situation, it has been asked to conduct voting on time and form a new executive.
They have been told that a new executive should be formed by holding elections from January 20 to January 22.
After this, the new committee should be given charge on 23rd January i.e. the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who was the president of the Union.
For the last time, elections can be announced by calling a committee meeting. First voting can be done for the election officer and then apart from 11 officials, voting is to be done for 214 committee members.
