Jamshedpur, Jan. 23: Tata Steel Security Kennel has won Obedience Challenge Championship of CKC 160th Championship Dog Show by winning all the three first prizes of Obedience Challenge held in Kolkata on Thursday.
Besides the kennel dogs of Tata Steel and Tata Motors, several private dogs participated in this event.
According to a press communiqu� issued by Tata Steel, the names winner dogs and their handlers of Tata Steel Security Kennel are:
Dog �Beauty� scored 296 marks out of 300 and won the first prize. Handler of the dog was K. K. Singh. Second Prize went to dog �Josh,� who scored 295 out of 300. Handler was Gopal Bahadur.
The third prize was jointly bagged by two dogs �Kancho,� who scored 294 out of 300 and his handler was Dhan Bahadur, and dog �Rider,� who scored 294 out of 300 with his handler Sawami Prasad.
The CC Certificate was given to dog �Tracy,� who scored 290 out of 300 and A. R. Sabhapati was the handler. K. P. Banerjee was team commander of the Tata Steel Security Kennel Team.
Since last few years, Tata Steel Security Kennel is consistently performing well in various dog shows.
Gopal Prasad Choudhary, chief of security, Manoj Kumar Singh, head security Jamshedpur, senior officers of Tata Steel, office bearers of Tata Workers� Union and employees of the steel major congratulated the winning kennel team on their grand success.
