Jamshedpur : Urban Services, Tata Steel today organised a Drawing Competition today at R.D.Bhatta Community Centre.
Around 150 participants took part in the event. The theme for the competition was �Clean & Green City for the Community�. Community committee members with their family, students, teachers, bustee people, & all other staff of the community centre participated.
SN Nandi, Head Water & Civil Infrastructure, CSR, Tata Steel & Captain Amitabh, Head Skill Development, Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the opening & closing ceremony respectively.
They encouraged all the participants for showing their creative ideas and distributed the prizes to the winners.
Mr. Shiv Lal Mahato and Mr. Anup Sinha were the Judges for the Competition. Mr. G.M. Sharan, Head Special Projects, Mr. R.S.Pandey, Senior Manager, Urban Services, Mr. D.K. Dubey, Area Officer, R.D.Bhatta Community Centre, and all the staffs of the centre were present during the competition.
Tata Steel�s Urban Services department obliges urban community, residing in bustee areas (urban settlements) of Jamshedpur by engaging them in profitable activities like skill development, sports, cultural activities etc.
Result: 1st � Nishi Gandha Das, 2nd � Karuna Purti, 3rd – Ushma Sheth. Consolation Prize: Saloni Kumari, Deepa Kumari, Shilpee Khatoon, Richa Kumari, Lalita Naidu, Malkit Singh, Kaushal Kumar, Tapan Kr. Sahu, Ujjawal Kumar, Mushkan Maudvi & Sumaila Ajay.
