Tata Steel Jamshedpur to hold written test on 6th March for recruitment of registered wards

Jamshedpur, Feb 18: The written test for recruitment of 500 registered employee wards of Tata Steel will be held on 6th March. Preparations in this regard have begun, sources said.

According to sources, a total of 16 test centres have been set up in across the city. The applicants have been informed about the test date through email. Earlier the recruitment exam was to be held on 9th January this year. But it was postponed due to Corona pandemic.

Sources said the applicants got information about the change of date some 20 days ago. The decision to recruit registered employee wards was taken in 2019 during Grade Revision agreement. The recruitment process was to start in the year 2020 but it got delayed due to the pandemic. A total of 7800 registered employee wards had applied for the recruitment. The exam will be of two hours duration with 100 objective questions of Matriculation level.
