Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Tata Steel Sports Department has witnessed a reshuffle of senior officials. Head Sports, Ashish Kumar, has been transferred to Tata Steel Kalinganagar in the Administration department. He was earlier in Tata Steel’s Corporate Communications Department. He would now report to the Chief of Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Kalinganagar, sources said.
Another official, Hemant Gupta, Head, Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, has been given additional charge as Head Sports (TFA and Sports). He will directly report to Vice President (Corporate Services). Those who earlier reported to Ashish Kumar will now report to Hemant, sources said, adding further that the new changes would be effective from 15th January onwards.
Sources further said that Tata Steel was going to start Greenfield facilities in Ludhiana. From 1st February, Tata Steel Kalinganagar’s Head Administration Amit Mukharjee has been made the Head of Administration, Office, VP (CS). He will report to the Chief, Corporate Affairs. All proposed changes have been approved by the VP (CS) Chanakya Choudhary.
