Jamshedpur, Jan 5: District BJP general secretary Anil Modi here on Thursday demanded that the state government should open the Jugsalai railway over-bridge (ROB) for the public without delay.

In a statement issued here today, Modi said the ROB construction was complete and now there was no justification in holding back its inauguration.

“If the ROB is ready, why is the state government not opening it for the public. Is the government waiting for some Shubh Muhurt (auspicious time) to inaugurate the ROB,” said Modi.

The BJP leader said the people of Jugsalai were eager to use the ROB as they had struggled for years to get their demand for the same fulfilled. He said the Raghubar Das government had laid the foundation stone of the ROB. But the Hemant Soren government took three long years to complete the ROB project, he said.
