Tata Steel Jamshedpur: Plant Conservation Bank inaugurated

Jamshedpur, Oct 18: A Plant Conservation Bank was inaugurated in Tata Steel Jamshedpur Works on Tuesday. It was inaugurated by Ruchi Narendran in the presence of Probal Ghosh, Vice President, Shared Services, Tata Steel along with other officials of the company.

The Plant Conservation Bank has a capacity to store more than 1500 number of seedlings and saplings. These will be stored for plantation in different part of the works area.

This bank is equipped with drip-irrigation and a misting device which play a role in controlling the environmental temperature and nurturing the seedlings & saplings, brought from different ecological regions of India.
