TSF celebrates women empowerment with inter centre contest
Jamshedpur, August 18: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), in its quest to promote and preserve art, culture, and literature among the people of Jamshedpur, organised the Inter Centre Saawan Queen 2023 at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium on Friday.
The event was aimed at celebrating women and boosting their confidence by providing them a platform to showcase their talents. Soni, Chief Ethics Counsellor, Tata Steel graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
About 60 contestants participated in the auditions held at Dhatkidih Community Centre on August 2, and the top 16 were selected for the finale. The finale witnessed a gathering of women from across the city.
Bulbul Sah was declared the Saawan Queen- 2023. First runner up spot was bagged by Moumita Mitra, followed by Simranjeet Kaur.
Best Smile award went to Moumita Mitra while the prize for Most Photogenic was won by Bulbul Sah. Best Hairstyle award was received by Archana Singh
The Inter Centre Saawan Queen 2023 was a vibrant event, with the participants showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and other performing arts. The event was a celebration of womanhood and an inspiration for women to break free from societal norms and pursue their passions. The event was a testimony to the commitment of Tata Steel Foundation in promoting art, culture, and literature among the people of Jamshedpur.
