Tata Steel Jamshedpur: Application invited for VG Gopal Scholarship 

Jamshedpur, June 1: Application for VG Gopal Scholarship, a scholarship for the children of employees jointly given by Tata Steel and Tata Workers Union, has been invited.

 Its circular was issued on Thursday.

Under this, Rs 12,000 per year would be given for those doing integrated courses in engineering and medicine, Rs 9,000 per year for post graduate degrees in computer science, engineering, business management, personal management, hotel management, diploma courses for any engineering studies. Rs 9000 for B.Sc and Rs. 7200 per year will be given for Plus Two studies. A total of 20 people will be given this scholarship, in which five will be given to women.

This scholarship will be given to those who take admission from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022. Apart from this, this amount will be given to such students, whose guardian’s salary does not exceed Rs.78310 per month. Apart from this, one time scholarship will be given to RD Tata Technical Institute. Under this scholarship, this amount will be given to the first five rank holders, while the scholarship will be given to the 6th to 10th rank holders through VG Gopal Memorial Trust.

For this, people can apply from May 29 to June 28 from the Employment Bureau located at the General Office of Tata Steel. The last date for submission of applications is July 15, which can be submitted to the office of the Senior Manager, Employment Bureau, Commercial Building, Tata Steel.
