Tata Steel Growth Shop initiates tree plantation drive

Gamharia: Tata Growth Shop launched a tree plantation program at Rajgoda ground in Dugdha Panchayat, under Gamharia block, as part of its voluntary service initiative. Approximately 55 trees were planted during this event. The initiative is part of TGS’s commitment to plant 1500 trees this year, with plans for similar campaigns in other locations.

Former EIC of Tata Steel Growth Shop, R. Ramchandran, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Also present were Smt. Ramchandran, General Manager Sharad Sharma, TISCO Mazdoor Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Shivlakhan Singh, Maintenance Chief Brijesh Kumar, Head of Machine Shop Amit Rai, SN Singh, Senior Manager Ram Naresh, Senior Manager (Admin) Sanjay Singh, Union’s Vice President Dinesh Upadhyay, Joint Secretary Naveen Kumar Sinha, Treasurer Dilip Kumar Mahato, Omprakash Pathak, Kaushal Kumar, Prabhunath Karna, and others.

Local villagers including Jaya Jha, Jai Ram, Simranjit Singh, Sanjay Kumar, and Ashok Mahato also made significant contributions to the successful organization of the program.
