Jamshedpur, July 6: The Jamshedpur Tatanagar Mandal Congress Committee has urged for an investigation into the quality of food items sold in hotels and carts near Tatanagar station, Khasmahal, and Lal Building. In a memorandum submitted to the ACMO at the Civil Surgeon Office on Friday, the committee alleged that the food items being sold are prepared using substandard oil, posing a health risk to the general public.
The delegation, comprising District General Secretary Bharat Singh, Rural Block President Ashish Thakur, Senior JMM leader Rajkumar Singh, Ghaghidih Mandal President Mithu Agarwal, Mandal General Secretary Sudarshan Mishra, and Loco Panchayat General Secretary Arun Singh, emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough investigation to ensure food safety standards are upheld.
