Jamshedpur, August 23: Tata Steel Gamharia was adjudged Winner in CII-SHE Excellence Awards at regional level in Eastern Zone in Large Manufacturing category (above 2500 employees). The award has been given during 18th CII Symposium cum Exposition 2024 event held at Kolkata on Thursday.
The award was given by Chairman CII-SHE Eastern Zone, Rajiv Mangal during the function.
This award is given for deployment of safety, health, and environment practices by the respective companies. This includes site assessment and presentation before the CII jury members. More than 80 companies participated in this competition. Notably, this is first time Tata Steel Gamharia has won the award.
