MKP operates through three modes: Residential Bridge Course (RBC) for homeless children to prepare for school integration, Non-Residential Bridge Course (NRBC) centers within slum settlements for preparation and enrollment in government and semi-government schools, and direct enrolment for children needing no bridging. The program also emphasizes enrolling young children di2rectly into kindergarten and preparing older children (15-17 years) for careers and higher education, ensuring a comprehensive approach to breaking the cycle of child labour.

Sourav Roy CEO, Tata Steel Foundation said “We appreciate Bridgestone India for recognizing the efforts to stand by vulnerable children who comprise a large section of the most marginalized community in our country. This recognition strengthens our commitment to transforming lives of children through education. We are also grateful to the community for their trust and support, and we remain dedicated to fostering positive change through education.”
