Tata Steel employee kills wife, two daughters and tutor in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 12: In a shocking incident, four persons, including two minor girls were found murdered inside a residential quarter on Tista Road under Kadma police station area on Monday evening. 

The culprit Deepak Kumar an employee of Tata Steel who works in the fire brigade of the company executed the crime at his quarter number N-97 located at Tista Road under Kadma Police Station area.

A 42-year-old man Deepak Kumar who is father of the two minors is suspected to committed the gruesome killings sometime in the afternoon. 

The other two murder victims were Vina Kumari (35) who was Deepak’s wife and Rinki Ghosh (22), who was tuition teacher of the two minors, Diya Kumari (15) and Sanvi Kumari (11).

Rinki Ghosh who was a resident of Ramjanam Nagar in Kadma was a tuition teacher. She had come to teach the two minors at about 11 am today. But as she did not return home at her usual time till 1 pm, her family members came to Deepak’s residence.

Sensing something seriously wrong, the  family members broke open the lock on the door. And having entered into the residence, they found four mutilated bodies including that of Rinku lying on the floor near the kitchen. 

The brother of the deceased woman Binod Kumar said that late in the afternoon when he reached at the house he saw the door closed but the air conditioner was on. Somehow he managed to get inside the house and saw bodies of the two niece and his sister on the bed while body of the tuition teacher was in the next room.  

Binod said that earlier in day Deepak had reached at his house and had taken away all the jewellery of his wife. He had informed him that he had sent his wife and daughters to their relatives in Ranchi.

City SP, Subhash Chandra Jat arrived at the scene after Kadma  OC, Manoj Kumar Thakur had started inspecting the spot. 

From the initial probe it was found that all the four persons were killed with a dumble made of iron. 

OC, Kadma thana, Manoj Kumar Thakur said from the condition of the bodies, it appears that the killings must have taken place between noon and 2 pm.

Police said that all of them have been killed using a heavy arm.
